Orphanage

hi there

we went to the orphanage on friday it was great we used the flannel graph for the second time and even though my teaching was pretty poor the kids asked lots of questions and i got to share the gospel with them and i lead them in a pray

please keep them in your prayers that they would come to know Jesus and as well there are roomers that they are not going to be there much long

Hi there

this week Monday we went to Cold valley and played football with the kids and Andi was playing with the girl’s it has been cool because Andi has been invited into one of the families homes up there and starting to build a relationship

Tuesday we went to the TB hospital and we usual colour in or play card game but this week i got to teach from the flannel graph which we have just got from America which is really cool it keeps the kids attention as you teach it it took us about 2 weeks to cut all the felt and Andi taught for the first time at the Orphanage last week it is good to have

Wensday we went out with questionaries about Jesus and stopped people and asked them the questions, it is a great way to share the gospel with people we had some great conversations and some off the people had some great questions and Jerry a guy here at base gave them his number so please pray that they will call him to talk further

Thursday today we went to the Cancer Hospital it is great here because we now have permission to worship and pray for people in a room and we go out and talk to people and pray it was amazing this week because we lead 3 people to the Lord and 1 women who we prayed for last week said this week that the cancer is leaving her body so please pray further for her to be healed her name is Elianora

hello there

sorry that it has been a while i am going to try and do these things more often , over the last few months we have seen people come to know Jesus in a personal way prayed for many people. i will just give a little overview of what we do Mondays we go to Cold valley and play with the Gypsy kids there Tuesday we go to the TB Hospital and play with the kids there on Wednesdays we go out in the town and do evangelism Thursdays we go to the Cancer Hospital and pray for the seek and and share the gospel with people and then on Fridays we go to an Orphanage

so i am going to try and keep you up to date more on these blog thing

Dear Friends and Family, Well, it’s been a couple of busy months since I last wrote! We hope you all have had a wonderful summer! Things here are settling down again after the craziness and I’m happy to say we’re getting back into our regular schedule. I’ll give just a quick summary of the past few months. The highlight for the month of July was definitely the Swiss team. We had the privilege of housing and organizing the outreach for a team from Switzerland. It was a busy time, but so much fun! Another great thing happened when we finally went to Cold Valley (the gypsy village here in Targu Mures). Before we went we prayed that God would open doors for ministry. God answered straight away when we met a woman named Katie. She’s originally from England, but she has lived in Cold Valley now for 3 years. She greatly encouraged us to come and spend time with the children. We also feel that this will be the “open door” for future ministry! Thank you Lord for answering our prayers! Then this month was Michael’s accident. Though this was a lowlight, we saw God working through it all. Michael is so happy to be out of bed and back to doing things around the base. I think he might be a little sad though…no more meals in bed! Until next month, we pray that you all will be well! Dear Friends and Family,
Buna (hello in Romanian)! How are you all doing? We hope you are
doing well! So, we’ve officially been in Romania for one month.
The time has gone incredibly fast, yet we feel that we’ve been here for a
long time too!
First of all, I want to praise God! I am feeling much better! Thanks
for all your prayers and e-mails of encouragements, it was much
appreciated!!!
Overall, our first month in Romania has been wonderful! The food is
wonderful, the people are wonderful, and the weather is wonderful too!
Next week we will be beginning Romania lessons! Yeah! We found a
great teacher, so thanks for your prayers. Her name is Ramona and
she will be teaching 4 of us here at the base for 2 hours a week.
We are settling well, and beginning to start some ministry (more details
as you read on). Hopefully in the future, as ministry gets a little more
set and if it’s on your heart, we would love to invite you to come and
serve here for a short missions trip!
Well, this is just the short synopses of what’s been happening in the
past month…if you want to know more, just keep reading. We love
you all and miss you greatly!

Hey Everyone,

We’ve finally arrived in Romania!!! Thanks for all your prayers for our journey. :)

We are very excited and have already started to settle in our new room. We feel very blessed…we have a big room with a bathroom. :) God is good. It feels really good to have a place where we can put our stuff and get more comfortable. So far we’ve had a few good meals…a good traditional meal and some yummy pizza! They have just moved into this new base, so things are still getting sorted here. It’s a lovely base though. It used to be an old orphanage.

Well, we will be leaving tomorrow morning for another town in Romania about 6 hours away. We will be staying there for 4 days to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Youth With a Mission. The founders of YWAM, Loren and Darlene Cunningham, will be there to celebrate. We are really excited to join because we will be able to hear about the heart for YWAM Romania.

After this, we will be coming back to have our official orientation with the base here in Targu Mures.

We’ve made it to Taiwan!!! Thanks for all your prayers for our safety. Our flights went well and we arrived last night. Today we will be graduating from our Titus school…we can’t believe it!!! We have a few days here in Taiwan, then we will be off to England on Tuesday. We’ll share more about everything later, but just wanted to give you a little update to let you know we are safely on the ground. :) Blessings to you all and we look forward to catching up more soon.
